Sparkling 2023

Winemaker notes:
Sparkling 2023 is made from Albariño and Riesling grapes from the sandy red soils of the Riverland, picked a little on the earlier side presenting lemon squash zippy goodness.

The ferment saw a mix of direct press along with some whole bunches crushed and allowed to macerate for a day or so, before being pressed to old oak for primary fermentation and bottled to finish fermenting in bottle, giving the wine a light sparkle.
For us, Sparkling is an amazingly versatile pét nat due to the crisp acid line cutting through the creamy texture of the lees which brings beautiful length and complexity.
